Jean-Baptiste Grodwohl
Jean-Baptiste Grodwohl is an historian of science, who worked in Brazil (UFBA), in the United Kingdom (University of Cambridge) and in Japan (Sokendai); he is currently Associate Professor at the Université Paris Cité. His work encompasses the history of animal behavior, population genetics and ecology in the twentieth century. His current research project concerns how mathematical models have framed research programs in population genetics, and how they were affected by the introduction and updating of the methods of molecular genetics in the second half of the twentieth century.
