Carole Gwizdek
Carole Gwizdek has a long-standing interest in mRNA biogenesis and proteomics studies applied to neurobiology. Since 2023, she has been a senior researcher in Barbara Bardoni’s team at Institut de Pharmacologie Moléculaire et Cellulaire (IPMC), Valbonne, France, an internationally recognized laboratory in fragile X syndrome (FXS) pathophysiology. Dr. Gwizdek focuses on the nucleo-synaptic dialogue mediated by FMRP in neurons and its perturbation in the context of FXS. She developed national and international collaborations and a solid expertise in network management and actively supports the Université Côte D’Azur and the IPMC governances.
